Our most driven students complete both curricular and extracurricular requirements established by the National Academy of Engineering to graduate with honors. The program focuses on undergraduate research, interdisciplinary coursework, entrepreneurship, global experience, and service-learning, with an eye toward solving the world’s most pressing challenges.
Applications for Incoming First-Year Students
All students admitted to the Tickle College of Engineering will receive an email with a link to the application. Applications must be submitted by March 31, and decisions will be sent to students on or before April 16. Admitted students that did not receive the email should contact Jessica Jeffers (email@example.com), Honors Program Coordinator.
Application for Current UT Engineering Students
Current UT engineering students may apply to join the Cook Grand Challenge Honors Program after completing one semester at UT as an engineering major and receiving credit for at least one Engineering Fundamentals or other engineering course. Please complete this application to be considered for honors. Applications will be reviewed at the end of each term (May, August, and December) and students will be notified soon after. First-semester students should wait until they have registered for their second semester courses before applying.
